Budleigh Salterton’s senior sides both have action on the second Saturday of the new year.
The 1st team welcome high flying Stoke Gabriel to Greenway Lane (3pm).
The South Devon side last weekend knocked Premier Division Camelford out of the Throgmorton Cup to set up a last eight game at Exmouth Town next month.
Stoke Gabriel currently sit fifth in the Eastern Division, three places and five points shy of the Robins who have played five more games!
The South Devon side are unbeaten away from home in the league this season with wins at Appledore (3-2), Alphington (1-0), Okehampton (4-2) and Sidmouth Town (7-3) and they have drawn once, 3-3 at Teignmouth Town.
The Budleigh Reserves look to build on a splendid point gained last weekend at Topsham Town when they travel to face title chasing Feniton at Acland Park in a Fresha league top flight game.
Feniton are unbeaten in the league this season and will present a formidable challenge for Duane Greenslade and his side.
Kick-off at Acland Park is 2.15pm and SpursTom will be at the match – make sure of your copy of the Budleigh Journal - out next on Thursday, January 10, to read his thoughts on the action.
