During the past fortnight Budleigh ladies have played four Over-50s League matches with mixed results.

Two were won, two were lost and 14 points were banked.

In the meeting with Honiton Ann Vincent, Jenny Derbyshire and Dianzee Lowe won 22-11 and Lorna Autton, Joan Cowing and Marilyn Jackson won 19-10 which saw sis points gained from the contest.

It was a tight game when they visited Belmont. Ann Vincent, Jenny Derbyshire skipped by Mo Bond won 18-13, but Diane Dixon team of Jill Pond and Joan Cowing were beaten 10-19, so only two points collected owing to an overall defeat by just four shots.

The visit to Starcross also resulted in gaining two points. Ann Vincent, Joan Cowing skipped by Marilyn Jackson lost 13-24. However, Diane Dixon with Chris Loman and Mo Bond just managed to win by a dingle shot at 16-15.

In the home match against Exonia Diane Dixon skipped her team of Chris Loman and Joan Cowing to an 18-13 victory whilst Ann Vincent, Jill Pond and Bobbie Vanstone had a tight game only losing by two shots to give an overall score of 34-31 and four points for the home team.
