Budleigh ladies defeat Chagford in Over-50s Triples League meeting.

Budleigh Salterton ladies’ have played two games in the Exeter and District over 50s triples league over the past week.

They were winners in both matches, banking four points from each game in the process.

Against Chagford, Diane Dixon skipped Christine Loman and Joan Cowing to a 28 shot victory whilst on the other rink Jean Watts, Mo Bond and Ann Vincent lost by 10 shots, but Budleigh secured an overall 46-28 success.

The second game was against Shaldon and again Diane Dixon was victorious by 17 shots assisted by Mo Bond and Ann Vincent, Eileen Burston, Joan Cowing and Bobbie Vanstone lost by 13 shots to give a final result of Budleigh 34, Shaldon 30.
