There were victories for the Robins, who defeated Withy Dads and The Feathers, who got the better of The Gentlemen.

Both winning teams consolidated their top four berths – the top four teams qualify for Finals Day.

Exmouth Rugby and the Doctors continue to set the pace, with both teams maintaining a 100 per cent record through their first three games.

Whilst The Gentlemen remain rooted to the bottom of the league, they are providing plenty of on-field ‘blood’ action!

Fortunately medical assistance was on hand during their defeat to the Doctors when teammates Ross Parsons and Andy Harris collided on the boundary, resulting in a bloodied nose, in what onlookers described as a ‘sketch from the chuckle brothers’!

On Sunday, wicket keeper Kevin Tyrrell was led away bleeding having used his head rather than his gloves to stop a fearsome delivery from Alex Manning! Club chairman Neil Rice was on hand to provide the transport to hospital for the insertion of five stitches!

The action resumes on Sunday, June 29 at Ottermouth with a triple-header that begins with Robins v BSCC Youth (10.30am), Withy Dads v Gentlemen (1.30pm and finally, Exmouth Rugby v Taverners (4.30pm).
