Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club’s junior section are celebrating the season’s achievements at the clubs Ottermouth home this Friday (September 5).

Somerset cricketers Craig and Jamie Overton and Matt Cooke representing the Devon County Cricket Board, will also be in attendance.

Budleigh club secretary Kevin Curran said: “We get tremendous support from the community and we are not restricting the event to members so all are welcome to attend this very popular annual prize giving event which marks the end of another very successful season of colts cricket for the club.”

The senior club will also celebrate the season a week tomorrow (Friday, September 12) when the club will be open for the final club night of the year before the club once again closes up for the winter months.
