Budleigh Salterton Croquet Club Bridge Section held their Annual General Meeting and Prize Presentation last Tuesday, writes Barbara Mellor.

The retiring chairman, Sue Beresford, reported on the excellent year and varied activities of the bridge section, which included a record amount of over £300 raised for the Devon Air Ambulance at the Simultaneous Pairs evening. She then presented trophies to the winners of the annual competitions.

In terms of the honours, the Tuesday evening Kitty Healing Salver was won by Stuart Tibbits and Tessa Slow; the Wednesday afternoon Rose Bowl was won by Jackie Hardcastle; the Thursday evening Winand Salver, was won by Hilary Billing and Sandie Miles and the Tuesday and Thursday Evening Handicap Salver, was won by Janey Bruce.
