First up the Blues youngsters took on Feniton in what became a contest of one-way traffic! Leading scorer Will White opened the scoring in the seventh minute and, thereafter through to the final whistle, Blues stand-in gloves man Owen Shaw did not touch the ball!

Once top scorer Will White had found the net in the seventh minute, stand in Blues keeper Owen Shaw never got to touch the ball again !

The outstanding Jake Diprose saw a shot cannon back off an upright before a White shot forced an own goal to double the Blues advantage.

In the second half Tom Humphry hit the bar with a rasping shot whilst Sam and Jake Diprose both went close, whilst master-marksman Will White claimed three more. Humphry took over in goal in the later stages and Shaw had a run out on the pitch.

Next up were Honiton who hustled and bustled the Blues midfield.

Shaw burst forward and shot narrowly wide and then White hit the side netting as half-time arrived with no goals for either side.

After the break Sam Diprose and Luke Buck both had shots saved, but the pair were prominent when the deadlock was broken when Buck bravely challenged the keeper and Diprose knocked home the loose ball.

With time running out Honiton mounted their only attack of the contest and scored!

The Blues attention now turns to Saturday’s delayed cup quarter final at Heavitree Dynamo.

With the league campaign now put to bed, managers Alan Diprose and Alan Humphry would like to thank all the players and parents for their support throughout this successful season.
