Beer stil best in both the afternoon and evening in East Devon Short Mat Bowls League

There was a reduced programme last week in the East Devon Short Mat Bowls League, writes Caroline Pavey.

Just three afternoon matches were played and they produced home wins for Beer and Seaton Cliff B.

Afternoon Division Two produced a home win for Chard B.

Last week also saw the first leg of the preliminary round for the league cup in which Awliscombe A had a home win.
