After a run of disappointing results, Bank were looking for some cheer and things started badly as they found themselves three down in next to no time!

However, with two thirds of the contest still to be played Bank finally found their feet.

The spark was provided by Phil Sanders from mid-field and it was his pass that found Adam Gendall out wide. He raced away before crossing for Adam Pring to get the come-back started.

Just before half-time Pring netted a second following more excellent midfield play and bank went into the break in much better shape.

Straight from the re-start Bank began to play some tidy passing football.

Pring picked up the ball in the middle third and passed it sideways to Sanders who beat a couple of players before slamming it into the back of the net to make it 3-3.

Warren Vaughan then weaved his way past a couple of opposition players before finding Sanders and he struck it beautifully.

The ball looked destined for the net only to rise at the last minute and cannon back off the crossbar.

It fell invitingly to skipper Jamie Drummond but he then put it wide of the upright! Bank kept pressing, forced a number of late corners.

From one of them substitute Luke Newcombe scored from close range to give Bank the lead for the first time in the game.

Half Moon threw everything in a bid for an equaliser of their own. Bank keeper Rob Watts made a number of fine saves but could nothing about the one that beat him in the sixth minute of added time.

Adam Pring was named the Bank Man of the Match.
