It was another early start for Luke Reed as on Sunday he was in Plymouth ready to start the Olympic distance Triathlon at 7.30am, writes Dave Mutter.

The race was 1500m swim, 25-mile bike and finally a 10k run.

Luke had a good swim in 22:23 then a solid bike on an undulating course 1:18:03.

The race finished with a tough 10k run with 550 ft. of climbing.

Luke’s time of 43:45 was one of the top 10 run times of the day giving him 14th place overall out of 220 starters.
