Exmouth Snooker League latest -
After defeating the Exmouth Snooker League leaders a week ago, Otterton A were beaten by a rare score line of late, five frames to nil.
Iain Callander 87-63, Peter Taylor 67-38, Dan Brown 67-35, Dion Newcombe 73-63 and Dennis Robb w/o gave the Number Nine A a real boost, climbing up the table to third.
East Budleigh A stay top despite another defeat, this time at home to the Number Nine B. Graham Ward 82-62 and Derek Quick 58-32 brought them level with Tim Thorn 59-50 and Jonathan Duck 51-16, but, Adam Morris clinched the decider for the visitors 78-35.
George Webster 75-47 and Mark Rock 73-54 put champions, Police Social Club A 2-1 to the fore, but, the wins for Steve Spinner 89-51, John Parrott 101-48 and Ray Sturman 90-27 of the Police C kept them four points off the lead.
Police B join East Budleigh C level in 4th, place on 22 points with their 5th, frame decider from Bob Horton 72-31. Earlier, Phil Rowsell 63-31 and Tom Gaygill 52-51 rescued them from the jaws of defeat from Rob Marsden 71-40 and Leo Dolling 56-41.
