In the Devon Women's Football League, a few teams played in midweek in an attempt to catch up on some of the fixtures lost due to wet winter we suffered.

In the Premier Division, Teignmouth entertained Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police and they shared the points in a 1 - 1 draw, with Leanne Robbins scoring for the away side.

In the South/West Division, Plainmoor Ladies were at home to Shaldon Villa, who took the three points home with them following a 4 - 2 win.

Vashti German notched twice, Jasmine Course and Nashya Paz getting the others.

Natasha Kiff and Cassie Lee replied for the home side.

Honiton Town took the trouble to hire the artificial surface at Axminster for their 'home' match with Exeter Uni and were rewarded with a 6 - 0 win for their efforts.

Charlotte Robinson and Hannah Randle scored two each, with Laura Capell and Isobel Bullock also on target.

In the traditional Sunday fixtures, Bradworthy warmed up for their N/E Cup Final with a 4 - 2 win on their visit to play Crediton United, whose consolation goals were scored by Rowan Karkeek and Maddison Taylor.

Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police collected another three points to cement their mid table position with a 4 - 3 away win over Fremington.

Appledore FC clinched the North/East title at the first attempt - and they did it in style - slamming in nine goals without reply against the luckless students of Exeter Uni.

Beth Ellis led the way with a personal haul of six goals, with one apiece from Laylah Windsor, Rohanna Little, Hannah Neve and Kelly Darnley.

In the South/West Division, SB Oak Villa celebrated their position at the top with a high scoring win over Horrabridge Rangers.

Rebecca Richards hitting the target four times, Libby Williams twice and one each for Olivia Lennox, Kelsey Blight and Emelia Heyes.

Plainmoor Ladies lost for the second time in a week.

Despite two goals by Steph Warren, they lost 3 - 2 away to Signal Box.

Also in Plymouth, Shaldon Villa recorded their second win in less than a week, beating fourth placed, Elm United 5 - 2 with goals from Georgia Tibbs (2), Roisin Skilton (2) and Nashya Paz.
