Woodbury holiday park looks to add static caravans

An Exmouth holiday park has applied for permission to build 25 ‘bespoke’ static caravans.

The application was validated by East Devon District Council (EDDC) on August 29.

Seadown Holiday Park Ltd is looking to build the 25 static caravans on land currently used for touring caravans at Webbers Farm, Castle Lane in Woodbury.

According to the planning application, the caravans ‘are supplied by a specialist company acknowledged for creating residential and leisure homes for caravan parks throughout the country, and the product will be of the highest standard and finish’.

If successful Seadown Holiday Park Ltd plans ‘to roll out a business plan to enable expansion of the park for the future ensuring high class luxury accommodation giving holidaymakers another option when visiting East Devon’.

A date for the application to be discussed by councillors has not yet been set but members of the public have until September 27 to comment on the application.
