Police say a man has to be airlifted to hopsital after a collision involving a HGV and a motorcycle on the Woodbury Common Road this afternoon (Tuesday, February 13).

A man has to be airlifted to hospital after a collision involving a HGV and a motorcycle on the Woodbury Common Road.

According to police a man sustained a serious leg injury and will be airlifted to Derriford Hospital.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said that at around 3.45pm today (Tuesday, February 13) there was a collision involving a Honda motorcycle and a HGV at the Four Firs junctions between the B3179 and the B3180.

Officers say the road has been closed.
