A woman has been taken to hospital after falling from a horse on Exmouth beach.
The incident happened yesterday (December 29), just after 11am, on the section of beach by the lifeboat station on Queens Drive.
An ambulance was called to the scene, and took the female patient, said to be in her mid-30s, to be treated at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
A South West Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman suffered chest injuries in the incident, which were not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
