The Withycombe Warblers, the community choir, are set to get singing again on September 14 following a summer break.
They are a community choir open to everyone regardless of age or experience and directed by the inspirational Claire Anstee.
They meet for the sheer fun of singing every Friday morning from 10.30 - 12 at Withycombe Methodist Hall, Old Withycombe Road.
They are a relatively new choir and have only been singing together for a year.
They performed for the first time at The Exmouth Festival and there are no auditions and all songs are learned by ear.
They sing a wide variety of music from Pop to world, folk to jazz, gospel and the blues.
Choir leader Claire said: “ Singing is such a great way to forget about your worries and it’s a good way to meet new people too.”
They are recruiting new members now.
Call Claire on 01398 332781 or 07849067724.
