PLANS BACKED: Plans to build a new home in Withycombe have been supported by Exmouth Town Council.

The plan is to demolish an existing garage at 5 Copperhead Close and build the home in its place.

East Devon District Council will now make the final decision on the plans.

EXTENSION GO-AHEAD: An extension to an Exmouth home has been approved by East Devon District Council.

The plan is for a single-storey and two-storey side extension to be built at 221 Exeter Road.

BARN DANCE: Withycombe parish churches are holding a barn dance.

It takes place at Withycombe Rugby Club on Friday, September 14, between 7pm and 10pm.

Admission is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children, including light refreshments.

EXTENSION BID: Plans have been submitted to extend a home in Woodbury.

The plan is for a two-storey extension to be built at The Rowans in Broadway, replacing an existing conservatory.

Woodbury Parish Council will now consider the plans.

WINDOWS ‘YES’: Plans to install front and rear dormer windows for a loft conversion at 31 Springfield Road have been supported by Exmouth Town Council.

East Devon District Council will make the final ruling.
