EUROPE POLL: A regional poll shows that most people would like the UK to stay in the European Union (EU) an East Devon euro MP says.
Sir Graham Watson, a Lib Dem MEP whose South West constituency includes Exmouth, said that the results of his recent region wide survey was ‘encouraging’.
It showed that the vast majority of those surveyed would like the UK to remain an active member of the EU.
A third of respondents cited trade as the most important reason, while climate change, immigration and counter terrorism were also listed.

CAMPAIGN: Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) has launched its new regional reps website, www.sasreps.org.uk, highlighting its newly-expanded nationwide network of dedicated volunteers fighting to keep UK waters and beaches free from pollution.
The interactive website also highlights key environmental issues facing Britain’s surf spots and details current SAS campaigns targeting polluters and calling for better protection for unique, precious oceans, waterways and beaches.
