Exmouth seafront was under water this morning (Friday) after a combination of heavy seas and strong rain.
Exmouth Journal reader Claire Schenk captured these pictures during an early morning stroll along the seafront.
Police told the Journal that the seafront had not been closed.
Authorities are monitoring the situation.

i was down this year in the early spring and there were waves coming over the wall then and it was the sand storms in the summer its been bad down there this year
