Still some tickets left for tonight’s charity jazz concert in Exmouth

THERE’S still a chance to pick up a ticket for tonight’s charity jazz concert at Exmouth Community College.

The event - raising funds for the British Heart Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis - is at the Main Hall on the Green Close site, tonight (Wednesday, March 19), starting at 6pm.

It features acclaimed jazz pianist Craig Milverton and vocalist Maggie Reeday, plus support from the Dylan Fowler Band and the Ethan Grainger Band.

The concert has been organised by friends who attend the annual October reunion of former pupils of Exmouth Grammar School.

Pianist Craig Milverton was voted Jazz Pianist of the Year 2010 at the British Jazz Awards. Maggie Reeday has garnered a fine reputation as a jazz vocalist.

Tickets are £8 in advance (from Exmouth’s British Heart Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis Society shops, Mike England on 01395 278606 and John Lucas on 01395 265061), or £10 on the door.

There will also be refreshments, a raffle and a quiz.
