Lisa Boucher, who maintained a four-stone weight-loss for more than five years, has been recognised for her achievement

An inspirational Slimming World consultant who lost four stone - and kept it off - has gained national recognition.

Lisa Boucher, who runs groups in Exmouth, reached the semi-final of Slimming World’s Top Target Consultant contest having maintained her weight-loss since December 2012.

The 34-year-old was one of seven consultants from across the country to bag a place in the finals.

Lisa, who first joined Slimming World in July 2006, described being selected for the finals in Derbyshire as an ‘honour’ and said could not have imagined it when she first started.

Lisa added: “I was nervous when I first walked through the door of my Slimming World group, but it was without a doubt one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

More than five years later, Lisa has maintained her new weight and is now helping 300 Exmouth slimmers at her groups held every Tuesday.
