Slimmers in Exmouth have been showing cancer what for.

Slimmers in Exmouth have been putting their best feet forward to raise £100 for Cancer Research UK.

The group celebrated their weight-loss success by walking five kilometres for Cancer Research UK on Saturday, September 29.

Throughout September, the group upped their daily step count, rounding it all off by taking part in the Walk All Over Cancer campaign.

The event aims to raise awareness of the links between keeping a healthy weight and reducing the risk of cancer.

Slimming World Consultant Lisa Boucher said: “We had gorgeous sunny weather conditions for our walk and in true Slimming World-style our members, their friends and families were out in force to support each other.

“They showed just what can be done when we come together – both in terms of achieving something amazing and raising money for a great cause too.” For more information about local groups visit www.slimmingworld.co.uk
