Silent majority

10:05 10 February 2012

I do not know where Councillor Richards learned his maths, but it seems plain enough that, if only about 1,000 out of 4,318 Budleigh residents expressed an opinion against the plans for the Longboat Cafe at Budleigh Salterton, it would appear that the rest are happy that it goes ahead.

It is about time our councillors started representing the views of the silent majority, rather than be accused of supporting the vociferous minority.
