Shoplifting spree prompts Exmouth police appeal

Police are appealing for help identifying a group of men they believe can help with an investigation into a string of shoplifting offences in Devon, including one in Exmouth.

Officers said seven 70cl bottles of Famous Grouse Whiskey, valued at £102, were taken.

Police have released this CCTV image of a group of men they would like to speak to as part of an ongoing inevstigation.

Earlier in the day three men visited Co-op in Teignmouth, taking four bottles of Veuve Cliquot Champagne valued at £144.

At a store in Torquay two men stole four bottles of Smirnoff vodka.

Goods worth more than £2,000 were stolen from a Co-Op in Paignton when two men entered the rear of the store, stealing 27 cases of cigarettes, cigars, tobacco products and four cases of chewing gum.
