SHARE YOUR MO: Movember fever has taken over the Journal – and we would like our male readers to show us their Mos.
We want to see pictures of the variety of moustaches being cultivated for Movember, which runs in November each year, and encourages men to raise funds and awareness of prostate cancer while highlighting other male health issues.
The Journal is calling on men taking part to email photographs of their Mo, including your name, age, address, details of why you are taking part, plus any information on how to donate.
Exmouth’s emergency services are united in their support of Movember, with the town’s police and firefighters avidly growing different styles of moustaches until the end of the month.
Fire station watch manager Stefan Clark said: “We do it every year. We don’t really collect much money, but people ask us what it’s for so it’s raising the profile of prostate cancer.”

LONGER HOURS: Exmouth Post Office has promised longer opening hours in the run up to the festive season.
From Monday, November 26, the Magnolia Centre branch will be open from 8.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am-noon on Saturday.
The longer opening hours give customers an extra 22 hours of Post Office time.
Andrew Thompson, Post Office regional manager for the South West, said: “We want to make this Christmas special and as stress free as possible for all our customers by offering longer opening hours.”
