Topsham’s gardeners are again gearing up to open their gardens to the public in aid of the town’s museum.
The Topsham Secret Gardens event, held every other year, is a chance to explore some of the town’s hidden botanical treasures – if you can find them.
The event is always a big hit with locals and visitors alike, and raises valuable funds for Topsham Museum.
The museum also helps out on the day by serving cream teas, which are also available in Victoria Road, to sustain visitors.
This year, there are new and previously undiscovered gardens taking part, so even if you visited the last event two years ago, there are still new gems to uncover.
There is also the chance to pick up some bargains at the plant stall, including selections from some of the gardens themselves.
The event will take place on June 8. Tickets will be available from the museum, from other outlets in the town, and online via the museum’s e-shop from the beginning of May.
Tickets will cost £5 in advance, or £6 on the day.
