Exmouth Sea Cadets are waiting for results of an annual inspection, where they are marked on uniform, qualifications and ceremonial drills.
Exmouth Sea Cadets are waiting with baited breath to find out if their recent annual inspection of their unit was a success.
After weeks of practice for the annual unit review, the night finally arrived for TS Exmouth Sea Cadets, on October 11.
Cadets are marked annually on ceremonial drills, their uniform and the number of qualifications they have gained throughout the year.
The inspecting team of Lt Cdr Derek Hall (Devon district officer), Lt Cdr Keith Brown (deputy district officer) and C/Sgt Kevin Cooper (Three troop commander) were received at the Camperdown Terrace unit by a Royal Marines cadet guard, Sea Cadets, junior cadets and staff.
CPO (SCC) Neil Gregory, officer in Charge of TS Exmouth, said: “The evening went well, and the cadets put on a good show. We are all looking forward to getting the result in the next few weeks.”
