ANNEXE BID: Town planners have not backed plans to demolish a greenhouse and to convert and extend a garage to form a self contained annexe at Lyonesse, 12 Fore Street Hill, Budleigh Salterton.

They had concerns that the development would be over-development of the site, the plans would be detrimental to the conservation area and concerns were expressed over the stability of the land. The plans will now be considered by district planners.

SALEM CHAPEL: East Budleigh’s festival of decorated Christmas trees takes place at Salem Chapel from Friday, November 30 to Sunday, December 2, from 2pm to to 5pm, except Sunday, when there will be a Christmas tree blessing at 4pm.
