RING THE BELLS: Experienced bell ringers are sought by the Church of St Margaret, in Topsham.

The group practices every Thursday, from 7.45pm-9pm, ready for the Sunday services, starting at 9.30am.

LENT LUNCH: A frugal meal of soup, bread and cheese will be served at St Margaret’s Church to raise funds for Christian Aid.

The Lent lunches are tomorrow, Friday, February 22, and again throughout March.

The suggested minimum donation for the meal is £3.50 but donations are welcome.

LEARN ABOUT NZ: The Topsham Society’s talk understanding New Zealand’s unstable geology is at Matthew’s Hall tomorrow, Friday February 22, starting at 7.30pm

Pat Wilson, a former lecturer in geology and geography, will lead the talk. Doors open at 7pm. Refreshments will be available.

SKITTLES NIGHT: A fun night of skittles with teams of six competing against each other will be held at Topsham Bowls Club on Saturday February 23, starting at 7.15pm.

Tickets, available from Westaways and Topsham News, are £5 each, or £30 for a team of six. The event is in aid of Hospiscare.

WIN CASH: Bingo in aid of Topsham Town Fayre is on Tuesday, February 26, at Matthews Hall. Doors open at 6.30pm. Eyes down at 7.30pm. Cash prizes are up for grabs.

HATHA YOGA: If you drop in at tonight’s Hatha yoga session at Matthews Hall it will cost you £10.

The session is from 6.30pm until 8pm.
