An Exmouth-based builders’ merchant is offering trade apprentices the chance to scoop £250 to buy tools.

RGB Building Supplies, in Pankhurst Close, said the voucher will help apprentices stock their first tool kit.

David Wright, branch manager at RGB Exmouth, said the voucher means apprentices can purchase essential tools and accessories from their local RGB branch, plus receive expert advice about the best equipment to include

He said: “We fully believe that learning a trade is a fantastic way for young people to develop a successful career.

“There is always going to be a need for builders, plumbers, roofers, carpenters and electricians, and this competition is a way for us to support the next generation of tradesmen and women who are coming into the construction industry.”

Apprentices can enter by commenting on RGB’s competition posts, via social media, telling them the trade they are learning.

Entries close on Monday, November 5.
