I want to complain about this content:
Now lets think about this! "middle of the worst recession since the 30's, public services being cut, thousands without jobs, minimal investment in bringing jobs to Exmouth" So lets spend three quarters of a million quid on yet another pointless exercise! I have lived in the area since the 70's and have always found "bits of brick", "slate fragments", "polished pieces of glass" etc on the shoreline around the Imperial Rec, so why now does the Council, decide to "clean up"? Could it be the " bits of glass and other horrible things" councillor Duval-steer tells us of? or is it the ‘health pollutant linkages’ from lead or cancer-causing hydrocarbons in the top soil.? Or is it the fact that once the land has been "cleansed", the Council will then be able to sell the space for development with a "clean bill of health". Time will tell undoubtedly.
