Ten St Peter’s Church of England Primary School pupils represented East Devon in the Devon Summer School Games and won a team gold and bronze in two events.
The competition was held in Exeter and two teams, a tennis team and a gymnastics team were made up of four years three and four pupils and six years five and six pupils.
The mini tennis team comprised of Emma Naden, Esme Kilburn-Thompson, Tom Real and Ieuan Brockway.
While the gymnastics team comprised of: Lauren Brewster, Hope Evans, Olivia Yarwood, Tegan Marratt, Jack Woodthorpe and Nathan Pym.
After a day of competition against teams from the whole of the Devon region, the mini tennis players won gold in their event and the gymnasts secured bronze.
In addition, Jack Woodthorpe (gymnastics) was awarded a Spirit of the Games medal for setting a good example on and off the playing area.
