Poor weather conditions have led to a number of events being cancelled this weekend.

Best selling writer Joanna Trollope was due to visit Kennaway House on Saturday to talk about her latest novel as part of the first Meet the Author event in 2018. It has instead been postponed for another date which has not yet been announced.

The first-ever Sidmouth Daffodil Day has also been put off. The event, organised by the Sidmouth Daffodil Society, was supposed to take place tomorrow (Saturday) at Kennaway House. It will instead be rescheduled for a later date.

A silent auction which was due to be held in aid of the Youth Arts and Health Trust at the Woodlands Hotel on Sunday has also been cancelled. It will be rescheduled for a later date that has not yet been announced.

A Sid Vale Scouts Murder Mystery that was due to take place tomorrow (Saturday) will now be held on April 7.

Organisers have apologised to anyone who cannot make the new date.
