Police are appealing for information after reports of youths causing fires in a Budleigh seafront car park.

Police are appealing for information after reports of youths causing fires in a Budleigh Salterton car park.

According to Devon and Cornwall Police, officers were called at around 6.50pm on Tuesday (January 2) after reports that six youngsters were causing ‘disruption’ in a car park at the east end of Budleigh beach.

Officers attended to find two small fires which had already gone out.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said the suspects had fled the scene and after a search of the area, they were not located.
