Widespread flooding has hit towns and villages across East Devon causing disruption on the roads today (Wednesday).

Honiton, Axminster, Exmouth and Sidmouth were affected.

The road at Langford Bridge in Dunkeswell was deemed impassible by Devon County Council earlier this morning.

Seaton Primary School, Membury Community School and Broadhembury Church of England Primary School also had to be closed.
