Children from Otterton Church of England School presented spring flowers to their mothers during their traditional Mother’s Day service at St Michael’s Church on Sunday.

The school, which along with Drakes East Budleigh, is part of the Raleigh Federation, arranged for the children to perform specially-selected songs and readings on the Mothering Sunday theme.

The flowers were prepared by volunteers from the church community.

Pupils from Otterton will be among those to join friends from their federation partner school Drakes at a community breakfast in East Budleigh Village Hall, from 8.30am to 10.30am, on Saturday, March 24.

A full English breakfast, as well as cereals, juices and hot drinks will be on offer at the event.

Tickets cost £5.50 for adults and £3.50 for children and will be available on the door.
All welcome.
