Public meeting called to discuss Otterton traffic issues

A public meeting will take place at Otterton Village Hall from 7pm on Tuesday, January 9, to discuss traffic problems.

A second public meeting has been arranged to discuss traffic issues in Otterton.

Devon County councillor Claire Wright and East Devon District councillor Jeff Jung have organised the meeting to take place at Otterton Village Hall, on Tuesday, January 9, at 7pm.

The meeting has been called to give residents a chance to hear about the latest planning developments involving Ladram Bay Holiday Park. There will also be a chance for people to raise any traffic concerns they have.

This comes after a public meeting held at Ladram Bay was held last month.

In a letter to residents, Claire Wright said she would take suggestions forward to highways officers, but warned that there are ‘continuing significant budget cuts’ at Devon County Council.

She added that she believes that Otterton does have a ‘very real’ problem and would like to help with mitigating those problems.
