Orcombe cycling

13:20 24 February 2012

with reference to your recent article on the possible rerouting of the cycle path at Orcombe.

This raises the question, “Why do cyclists need to cycle all the way to Orcombe Point?”

It is not on any cycle route and the presence of cycles in the newly pedestrianised area will hardly enhance the experience.

Why not provide parking for cycles at Foxholes car park and discontinue the cycle track there?

  • Superb idea Mr Morris, even better why not just arrange to have anyone daring to ride a pushbike arrested for offending your sensibilities, I have heard it all now, what a selfish, self centred , bigoted opinion, thank god it is in a minority!
