A new baby group will start in Exmouth later this month.
The Baby and Me PEEP (Parents Early Education Programme) will be starting at Exmouth and District Children’s Centre (Moorfield Road) on Wednesday, February 27 from 1.30pm to 3pm.
The group will run for 10 weeks during term time.
Baby and Me PEEP is for parents and carers to attend with their babies.
Elizabeth Burren of the children’s centre said: “The sessions are about making the most of everyday life with babies and having fun.
“They build on what parents and carers already do and on the amazing ability of babies to learn. They help children’s early learning and lead to success in later learning.
“Come and join and learn together.”
Sessions will include: singing and rhymes, talking with other parents, activity time for you to play and try new activities with your child, sharing books and there will also be play packs for you to borrow and use at home with your child to follow on from the activities we will be doing in the sessions.
Parents and carers of children less than 10 months old are invited to attend. Please contact the Children’s Centre on 01395 226789 to book a place as spaces are limited.
