New Co-op to open tomorrow

Exmouth’s new Co-operative food store is due to open its doors tomorrow (Wednesday).

The store is in Exeter Road on the former site of Staddon’s Garage.

A spokesman for the Southern Co-operative, which is operating the store, said it would be open between 7am and 11pm, seven days a week, and create 18 jobs, all part-time except for the store manager.

The spokesman added that the store would include an in-store bakery, ATM, lottery and pay point as well as a good range of produce, and was keen to be involved in the local community.

Customers can also enter a draw to win £150 in vouchers by completing feedback forms about the store by August 24.
