More award success for Krispies

An Exmouth chip shop is celebrating once again after being named as having the ‘Best Chippy Chips’ in the South West.

Krispies in Exeter Road has won the award, held as part of National Potato Week, for the second year in a row.

The shop, run by Tim and Kelly Barnes, was voted for by its customers, online and with voting cards available in the shop.

Tim, a trained chef, said: “We’re over the moon to be voted the best in region, especially as the award is chosen by customers – it really means a lot to us.”
