Money taken at cashpoint

Police are appealing to the public to help identify a man who took £50 out of a cash point in Rolle Street.

On Monday February 13 2012 at 5.30pm woman cash point outside of Tesco Express in Rolle Street.

She put in her card and withdrew £50 – but walked away from the machine leaving her cash still in the slot.

In last week’s paper the police asked the suspect to come forward – as of this week the individual has not come forward.

PC Stephen Lemon of Exmouth CID said: “A few seconds later a white male seen to take the cash from the machine, he walks a few metres before stopping to talk to a woman in a pink coat.

“After a minute or so he makes the wrong decision and walks off with the money.”
