Exmouth RNLI played host to the Jurassic Coast Mini Club’s 2012 Mouth2Mouth Mini run, which raised £1,200 for the charity.

They may be small but the fundraising powers of the Mini are mighty when the Jurassic Coast Mini Club raised £1,200 for the RNLI.

Exmouth RNLI volunteers hosted a finish line feast when 80 Minis and their occupants completed the 2012 Mouth2Mouth Mini run, earlier this month.

The club collected money in buckets en- route from Weymouth, taking in Portland, Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton.

Exmouth RNLI volunteers, including coxswain mechanic Tim Mock, his son Henry, Charles Swales, Neil Hurlock and Caz Ashman served food and drink non-stop for more than four hours, raising £300 from the barbecue.

Mouth2Mouth organiser, Richard Darville said the event was in its sixth year, and the second where Exmouth RNLI hosted the finishing line.

He said every year numbers taking part increased, and funds were boosted.
