M5 southbound closed near Exeter causing rush hour traffic

Traffic is beginning to build on the M5.

Anyone needing to use the M5 to get home may want to take an alternative route.

One of the southbound carriageways, between Junction 30 near the Exeter service area and Junction 31 at Exminster has been closed by police following an incident.

Traffic is said to be very slow on the road.
