Art and crafts from Lympstone are being showcased throughout August. Read this and more.

DISPLAY: Art and crafts from Lympstone are being showcased throughout August.

A range of items are on display at Brook End studio in Harefield Cottages including paintings, prints, photographs, cards, jewellery and cushions.

The studio is open from 11am to 5pm every day until August 30, with tea, coffee and biscuits available, and cream tea at weekends.

Entry is free, but there is a charity collection box on the door.

SUPPORT: Plans to build a conservatory at the rear of 2 Holland View in Withycombe have been supported by Exmouth Town Council planners.

East Devon District Council will now consider the plan.

GO-AHEAD: Plans to extend an Exmouth home have been approved by East Devon District Council.

The plan concerns a single-storey rear extension at 93 Victoria Road.

PERFORMANCE: Exmouth’s young performers Centre Stage are giving a special show at St John in the Wilderness Church.

They will be performing West End Takes Centre Stage - a selection of West End song and dance routines - on August 17, at 7.30pm.
