A Littleham home has been burgled and police are urging residents come forward with information.
The burglary took place in Littleham Road at an address opposite the Parish Church of St Margaret & St Andrew.
It happened between 10.05am and 10.35am on Monday February 11.
Police say that the burglary took place after the homeowners had gone out for a short period.
Exmouth’s PC Stephen Lemon said: “We would like to speak to anyone with information regarding this incident.
“Any information including any persons seen hanging around, unusual vehicles seen in the area at the time or prior to this incident would be helpful.”
He urged homeowners throughout East Devon to secure their properties and he said that many burglaries can be prevented by securing the home.
He added: “Please ensure that windows, rear doors, sheds and side gates are kept locked and are secure, and be vigilant, look out for your neighbours.”
He added that sheds were also a target for thieves and said that tools should be kept under lock and key.
If you have any information call 101 quoting crime reference number KE/13/314.
