Hosted by Dancing Duo whose last event at the Pavilion attracted 80 people

A ‘Last Rose of Summer Ball’ takes place at the Exmouth Pavilion on Saturday, August 31.

It will be hosted by the Dancing Duo, Henry and Jeannie, whose last ballroom event at the Pavilion on August 17 – a Caribbean night - attracted around 80 people.

“We were really pleased with the turnout,” said Jeannie, adding that many people had not seen each other since the regular dances at the Pavilion ended some time ago. “For some people it was a memorable reunion evening.

“We had people who had booked to stay in Exmouth overnight because they had come all the way from places as far away as Cheltenham, Taunton, Barnstaple and Tiverton.”

The ‘Last Rose of Summer Ball’ will include Latin, ballroom and sequence dancing, and people are asked to come smartly dressed, in evening wear if they wish. It runs from 8pm until 11pm, and tickets are £10 on the door.
