Details of Budleigh Salterton Health and Wellbeing Hub’s involvement in this year’s carnival have been announced.

The hub will be opening its doors for the annual event on Saturday, September 29, from 4pm until 8.30pm.

The carnival procession will also begin outside the hub this year before it winds its way along Coastguard Hill, down Marine Parade and through High Street before turning up Station Road.

Visitors to the hub are welcome to drop in for refreshments at Launchpad Café until 7.30pm and take a guided tour at the hub. People can also visit the Westbank information stand to find out more about what’s on.

The lost children’s point will be located at the hub and run by staff from Carousel Nursery.

Mary Nisbett, Westbank chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be involved in the annual Budleigh Salterton Carnival.

“The Hub is open for the community to come in and explore and find out more about what we have on offer.”
