A new survey has revealed that the average Exmouth woman is prepared to spend £188 on a new handbag.

While Exmouth woman must be amongst the strongest - with the average handbag and its contents weighing an average 1.7kg.

The survey into the handbag habits of women in the UK was conducted by Kenco Millicano, and has revealed that women in Exmouth are the biggest spenders in the UK when it comes to handbags.

Other Exmouth handbag facts include that 47 per cent of Exmouth woman carry a large handbag and 78p is the average amount of loose change found at the bottom of a handbag in Exmouth.

The average value of the contents in a handbag in Exmouth is £208 and women carry nearly two kilos of items including purses, phones, lip balm, keys, tissues, hairbrushes, medication, handcream and pens around with them.

The survey coincides with the release of a new ‘K Bag’; profits from the £250 bag will go to a charitable cause.
