A host of coffee mornings will be held throughout March to support a campaign being held in aid of Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare.

Businesses across the town have joined forces in a bid to raise as much money as possible for the cause.

The cash raised from the drive will go towards helping the charity to pay for the specialist home nursing service it provides. It also recruits and supports volunteer drivers, sitters, bereavement supporters and fundraising volunteers.

To keep the charity going it needs to raise more than £400,000 every year.

Lucy Hancock, the branch’s fundraising and promotions manager, said: “On behalf of Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare, Hospiscare@Home and the patients and the families that we care for, we would like to thank all the local businesses and individuals who are supporting our Coffee Morning Campaign this year.”

Lucy gave special thanks to Raymond James, in Rolle Street for their support a second year running, Franklins which has agreed to hold the launch and Kings Garden Centre for the Finale.
